Helena Taubner Communication

My name is Helena Taubner and my company is called Helt Unik, which is Swedish for "Completely Unique". What makes my company completely unique is the combination of skills I have, and what unites them is that they all have something to do with communication, in one way or the other.

Photography/Web design/Layout

I take on assignments in photography, such as taking pictures at someone's graduation day or birthday. I also design web pages, focusing on usability and accesibility. When it comes to layout I can help you make posters for an upcoming event, or entire graphical profiles for your business.

Language/Educational Technology/Disability Studies

I have a degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Gothemburg, and I have been teaching about Educational Technology for ten years at the University of Skövde. I also have a masters degree in Disability Studies, with a thesis about dyslexia, internet and stigma.

I offer my help with text production and correction in Swedish, and translation from Spanish to Swedish, and I give lectures about (for example):

the relation between learning and technological development
the question of who is normal and who is not (and who is to decide)
how to communicate through social media on the internet

Music (flute and singing)

Since I was little, I play the flute and sing. For example, I took part in the Choir Olympics in 2004 - returning home with a gold medal! I now offer flute music and singing at funerals or weddings.
